Our trust and estate litigators include six of the firm's partners: Gary B. Freidman, Harvey E. Corn, Anne C. Bederka, Charles T. Scott, Norman A. Senior, Paul T. Shoemaker, and Kenneth L. Stein. Mr. Freidman and Mr. Corn have been chosen as a New York "Super Lawyers" for their work in New York City estate litigation. Ms. Bederka was formerly Principal Law Assistant to Manhattan Surrogate Kristin Booth Glen and Mr. Scott was Chief Clerk of the Surrogate's Court, Westchester County.

Our understanding of the pitfalls in estate planning certainly aids our estate planning lawyers in preparing wills, and trusts that anticipate and avoid the problems that lead to litigation. Our estate planning team includes firm partners Leslie J. Wilsher, a frequent lecturer on estate planning topics, Kenneth Stein, and Gary Freidman, and associates Margaret Sylvester and Lorraine Paceleo, a certified public accountant who focuses on estate and gift tax issues and estate administration.

Another specialized area of focus is our work in software licensing. Partner Alan E. Katz represents software development companies in software licensing and implementation agreements.

Our commercial litigation team, headed by Norman A. Senior, combines the firm's substantial business and real estate litigation experience with business know-how, bringing additional expertise to its commercial litigation and dispute resolution capabilities.

Our real estate and commercial transactions teams represent clients in sophisticated office and commercial leases, real estate acquisitions, sales and financings and the purchase and sale of small businesses.
